Donato Salon and Spa Cut-A-Thon Today!

Today Only, stylists from each of Donato Salon and Spa’s three locations will be gathering together at the Lakeshore academy to offer haircuts ($25 and up) and colour ($35 and up) with all proceeds going to Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. They will also be accepting unwrapped, packaged toys for holiday donations as well.

Last Wednesday, Lucian Matis presented his Spring Summer 2012 collection and we left confused. We’re having a hard time figuring out Matis’ design esthetic. Since when did Matis design Vegas showgirl costumes? The collection reminds us of New York’s The Blonds – nude bodysuits, embellishments, and bright bold colous. We actually don’t mind the collection for the fun factor but is Matis even trying to design for retail anymore? Or has he completely given up on that?

Greta Constantine Kicks Off Toronto Fashion Week

Yes, there was another showtime delay this season but luckily the Greta boys pulled off another great collection with many of the pieces reminding us of what made the industry fall in love with them….sexy drape jersey dresses!
